2022 June Release Notes
CORE SYSTEM UPGRADES
Re-Subscribe Worker to Emails
If you've had to send a support ticket due to a worker opting out of emails from within an email: you now have the ability to view if a worker is subscribed to notification emails, and can re-subscribe them to notification emails if needed! On the 'Edit Worker' page, you will find a new slider that displays the subscription status of a worker and allows you to re-subscribe the worker if they had previously unsubscribed.
Why is this important? Communication preference manages how your app communicates with workers, and it will now be much easier to re-subscribe a worker!
Note: The 'communication preference' is still the primary way to select a worker's communication preference - the slider is intended only to re-subscribe a worker to emails, it cannot unsubscribe the worker. The slider is automatically set to 'off' if a worker does not have an email in their contact information.
Time Verification Mobile View
The new time verification features such as the quick "No-Show" and the more-granular "Break Entry" are now available in the mobile friendly view of the portal.
Why is this important? You're not always working on a computer, and it is important for you to have the ability to keep going on your mobile device if needed!
ATS-SPECIFIC UPGRADES
BOLD
Talent Placement Status BOLD > WorkN
Talent placement status in BOLD will now be able to be matched against in WorkN.
Why does this matter? WorkN will now be aware if a worker is available for work on a given day through the availability flag so that they are not matched on jobs they cannot work.
Bullhorn
Viewing Log in Status
You now have the ability to view the login status of workers via our integration with Bullhorn.
Why is this important? This will provide additional visibility into how workers are using the app, and how available they are!
Enhanced Duplicate Checks
We've enhanced the duplicate check capabilities between WorkN and Bullhorn. This will improve the way candidates are checked against Bullhorn when applying for jobs through the app and reduce the number of duplicate entries in workers that are applying to jobs in the app. We've added support for defining what types of candidates in Bullhorn should be considered for duplicate check initially by checking against a specific field in Bullhorn. And the duplicate check will also look for matches in Bullhorn for Email, First Name, and Last Name.
Why is this important? Duplicate entries and applications can be misleading and create confusion. This will significantly improve your view into applications and reduce the number of duplicate entries.
API Call Retry Logic
If you had previously experienced failed API calls due to timeout or throttling, you will now find failed calls following a retry process to process these calls correctly.
Why is this important? Bullhorn has recently added throttling, which has impacted most Bullhorn integration customers, this is a step into improving the reliability of your API calls.
