API: Pausing Jobs and Applicant Caps

Job Pause Functionality: Customers can now temporarily hide job opportunities. When a job is paused, the opportunity remains active and in the WorkN database, however the opportunity is hidden from talent in the mobile app and is also hidden from the web portal until unpaused.


Application Cap Management: Job opportunities can now have applicant caps applied. When the specified number of applications is reached, the job will automatically be paused and thus hidden from talent to prevent additional applications.

Why did we do this?

  • Enhanced Job Management: Provides customers with greater control over their job postings, allowing them to temporarily pause recruitment without deleting job opportunities entirely.

  • Improved Workflow Efficiency: Eliminates the need to manually monitor application volumes and remove jobs once capacity is reached, streamlining the recruitment process.

  • Better Candidate Experience: Prevents talent from applying to positions that are no longer actively recruiting, reducing frustration and improving overall user experience.

These features are available to all customers. Configuration and setup require a support ticket to be submitted for implementation.
